1 The colored door was locked when Dorthey tried to vote
2.Then she kicked the door to get the voting ladys attention and the lady at the counter wrote down her licences plate
3.Then the police called her husbands boss and told him his wife had ro get her act together or he would be fired
4. She finally gets into the voting room because the door is unlocked
5. The colored side of the voting room had cigarette butts on the foor but on the white side it was clean
6. Dorthey sits in a uncomfortable chair for two hours to get her regastration form
7. She finally gets the form but it is impossable to answer

One example of descrimination is when the whites arrested the blacks for protesting against their rights. I didnt relise that even the jail cells were split in to different sections. The whites were in one section and the blacks in another. The blacks jail cell was not nice it had horse manure on the grounds.

Some examples of descrimination in chapter 6 of the Tugging string are it was eleagal to march for writes. Also they where sevserly hurt hurt with things such as rubber clubs wraped in barb wire and bull whips. The sunday of the march is known as bloody sunday. People where sent to the colored section of jail and the hospital after this act. Whites smiled laughed and cheered when they watched the blacks be punished.
